Mia's marketing career began with a phone book. In her first position as Marketing Director for a Phoenix small business, her boss threw her the phone book and said "Get us new business!" Although that directive may have seemed a little abrupt, it gave Mia the chance to hone her marketing and creative skills like no other opportunity could. With nothing but her determination creativity and savvy, Mia developed a marketing plan, collateral materials, direct mail campaigns, telephone scripts, and networking opportunities, which literally opened hundreds of doors and brought in dozens of new customers for the firm.

With those early experiences under her belt, Mia left the corporate world in 1988 to open her own marketing firm, Clientele Expansion Services, to be able to better serve more clients and to assist businesses with powerful and cost-effective marketing strategies. Since 1988 Mia has led the CES team in assisting a wide variety of businesses, from insurance agents to professional speakers, and from woman's groups to contractors, all who value and appreciate Mia's passion for her work, unending encouragement and dedication to their success. The company has enjoyed steady growth each year through referrals, the highest compliment a business can enjoy.   

Mia is also active in her community, along with her husband of 16 years and four children, volunteering time with Home Base Youth Services, their church and many local events.
